To develop a new fishing system, the Ingenieus asked the anglers, professionels and  hobby fishing people what they want for a perfect fishfinder.

The answers:
- they want to see more, so Humminbird developed a new transducer system. The  old  transducers are changed to the new DualBeam PLUS and the new QuadraBeam side transducer for a high definition at a 90° view angle.

- Displays with higher performance. Humminbird decided to use a new display with high resolution LCD and grayscale.
 
 

- A simple facility to find the own fishingplaces againg.
Now it is possible to navigate and find the waypoint by GPS. 

- A convenient menu for use, and Humminbird developed the new X-Press menusystem.

- The possibility to make individual settings and to play with new options. Now it is possible to extend you fishfinder with new equipment for example the WetherSense barometric module or other plug and play options.

The new MATRIX fishing System shows you the whole world under water --- developed according to your instructions. You not longer see only the fish next to you, you can look all around and astimate the wohle surrounding. Change to the Humminbird MATRIX system and you will know what exiting fishing means.
