BlueChart nautical charts on CD

The charts can be uploaded on Garmin data cards.
So you can use the GPS for yachts and vehicles.

Additionally to Garmins new handheld instruments with map function and sea chart plotters, BlueChart offeres interactive and detailed nautical chart data. 

BlueChart introduces an innovative and object orientated chart concept.  By pushing a key, descriptions of objects on the sea charts are shown. Cursor movements show information about depth contures, chart numbers, names of navigational aids and much more. 

In connection to a  Garmin-chart plotter it seems like viewing a paper chart.Features include shading between depth contours, spot soundings, wrecks, navaids, harbour plans, restricted areas, cable routes, anchor points etc. Additionally BlueChart contains chart numbers, names, scales and data of the Notices to Mariners. 

The BlueCharts offer detailed, vectorized cartography for large areas, known from paper charts.

Compatible instruments are the chart plotters: 60CX, 60CSX, 76Cx, 76CSx, 172, 172C, 178, 178C, 276C, 2006, 2006C, 2010, 2010C, 3005C, 3006C, 3010C

Preprogrammed data cards  are also available.

The following products do not support BlueChart: GPSMAP 130/135 GPSMAP 175, GPSMAP 180/185, GPSMAP 230/235, GPSMAP 210/215 and GPSMAP 220/225.

Included in delivery:
You will get the CD with a code number. With this code number you can unlock any regular sized region you want on the CD directly in the Internet at Garmin/ USA . Any region seen below has a size of approx. 10-17 MB. We recommend a 32MB memory module.

If you don`t want to update the old nautical chart area because you e.g. have moved your yacht to a different area, it is better to purchase a new BlueChart CD Version 6.
