SX 35 DSC & ATIS: This VHF marine radio receiver can take part in DSC- radio communication after the input of the users MMSI number. Additionally it can be switched to inland radio communication after the input of the ATIS number.

You can enter the MMSI and ATIS number yourself.
A GPS is also connectable to transmit a position in DSC operation in an emerency.

There are different kinds of  DSC calls :
Undesignated / Collision / Sinking / Piracy Attack / Fire or Explosion / Grounding / Disabled & Adrift / Man Overboard / Flooding / Listing or Capsizing / Abandoning Ship / EPIRB Emission

For sure there is a built-in covered distress button that can be used by everyone.
